Summertime Whitsundays

Summertime is without a doubt one of the Whitsundays most popular vessels. A classic timber sailing ketch with all modern comforts. Enjoy the ambiance of traditional sailing in ultimate comfort as Summertime sails the sparkling waters of the Whitsundays. Handcrafted in 1945 by master shipwrights, Summertime has been lovingly restored and immaculately maintained. While retaining all of her old world charm, the boat also boasts a freshwater Jacuzzi and is fully air conditioned.

Summertime is the only vessel in the Whitsundays to offer a unique guided kayaking adventure. A Summertime voyage promotes eco friendly exploration of the islands as you paddle quietly into hidden inlets and soak up the ever changing but always magnificent scenery.

Discovering the wonders below the water is also easy aboard Summertime. Diving and snorkelling opportunities are almost endless in the Whitsundays and we carry dive gear and our own instructor on board. Beginner or experienced, your dive adventure is tailored to suit your level of competence and we promise you'll come up smiling.

Whether enjoying the sailing, exploring by kayak or venturing below, our crews intimate local knowledge means you are always shown the best of the Whitsundays in the best possible ways. Our Canon G16 camera is always at hand to capture your Summertime adventures forever- and with an underwater housing, your diving and snorkelling experiences are forever remembered!

Exploring the Whitsundays creates quite an appetite and luckily, delicious meals are prepared fresh on board. Our crew will continually surprise you with their delectable creations.

A Summertime voyage is a full three day, two night Whitsunday cruise. Summertime sails around one of the world's premier holiday destinations, The Whitsunday Islands are regarded as a sailor’s paradise. The close proximity of the 74 islands provides endless shelter and snug overnight anchorages.
